How Riverside Pest used their Marketing Prize
We know that making the most of your marketing dollars is tricky for any business, so earlier this year Syngenta launched a six-week campaign using the fictitious “Bob’s Pest Control” which offered pest controllers, who may need a hand with their advertising, the chance to win a Mega Marketing Prize worth $15,000!
In April we announced that the lucky winners were Riverside Pest Management from the Deniliquin and Echua region. A family-owned and operated business with over 10 years’ experience in the commercial, residential and rural areas of the pest control industry. The company was established by Steve and Jess Butcher in 2012 and has grown rapidly ever since.
2019 has been quite a year for the Riverside Pest Management team, not only have they had the chance to boost their marketing skills with the use of Syngenta’s Mega Marketing Prize, they also cleaned up at the Deniliquin Business Awards in mid-June, bringing home the Micro Business Award and the 2019 Deniliquin Business of the year Award.
Riverside Pest Management specialises in termite inspections. They use the latest in thermal imaging technology and have the region’s only independent (and oh-so-cute) Termite Detection Dogs. As part of the prize Syngenta headed down to Deniliquin to shoot some footage of the family business for their new video content piece. It was a chilly start but with a beautiful sunrise, and we spent the day learning more about the family and how their clever canine Termite Detectives get their job done.
It has been an absolutely pleasure working with the Riverside Pest Management team to help bring their business’ marketing potential to life. You may have already seen their new video on Syngenta's Facebook page or Riverside's Facebook page, but if not, check out the video below to meet the lucky winners…
