Who will triumph at the Pestie Pub Quiz?
AEPMA's Pesticon 2025 is set to buzz with excitement with the addition of the Pestie Pub Quiz, sponsored by Syngenta. A new style on the Happy Hour event held the last few years at the Syngenta Stand – the networking drinks this year will be held at a brewery just a 4 minute walk from the exhibition hall.
Held at The District in SkyCity Adelaide, who brew Pirate’s Life handcrafted beer. Meet for a drink and then challenge your colleagues in the trivia quiz. With great prizes for each member of the winning team!
"The Pestie Pub Quiz is an opportunity for pest managers to connect, and to have a bit of fun while showing their industry knowledge” says Kirsty Dawson of Syngenta PPM.
The short quiz will provide light entertainment in the middle of the event, with plenty of time to sample the brewery’s skills either side. Steve Bitter, the new Head of Syngenta Professional Solutions will be hosting the quiz. Participants can expect questions that might challenge both their professional expertise and general knowledge.
Teams of four to eight members are recommended, with solo participants encouraged to pool their knowledge and join forces with others on the night. We suggest attendees form diverse teams, mixing experienced professionals with newcomers to foster new connections, and provide a breadth of knowledge in the group.
As the Pesticon Conference continues to grow, events like the Pestie Pub Quiz play an essential role in building a sense of community within the industry. It reminds participants that behind the serious business of pest control, there's room for laughter, friendly competition, and shared passion for the industry.
Held on Thursday 7th August at 4.45pm, entry is included in a full conference pass, and additional tickets can be purchased separately.
