DEMAND® 100CS – new cost-effective general pest spray now available
Syngenta Professional Pest Management are excited to announce the launch of DEMAND® 100CS Insecticide, a cost-effective general pest spray to hit the market. It uses unique iCAPTM technology to encase the active ingredient, Lambda-cyhalothrin, in a polymer microcapsule suspended in water.

DEMAND® 100CS delivers a long-lasting control against ants, mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches, spiders and has a residual control of up to 12 months indoors and up to 3 months outdoors. 1 L of DEMAND® 100CS makes up 200 L of spray at the high rate or 400 L at the maintenance rate, making it a cost-effective general pest spray.
During indoor surface trials1, House Flies were exposed to treated plywood for 30 seconds and knockdown recorded after an hour and assessed for mortality. DEMAND® 100CS (50 mL/10 L/200 m2) showed 100% knockdown after 1 week versus 40% for Bifenthrin (0.025 g/ai/m2). At intervals of 12 weeks, 24 weeks and 52 weeks, DEMAND® 100CS continuously showed 100% control.
During an outdoor surface trial1, Pharaoh Ants were exposed to treated cement for 30 seconds and knockdown recorded after an hour and assessed for mortality. DEMAND® 100CS (50 mL/10 L/200 m2) showed 96.3% knockdown after 1 week and ranged between 93.8% and 99.2% control for the following 13 weeks verses 11.2% after week 1 and 1% and 23.1% control for the following 13 weeks for Bifenthrin (0.025 g/ai/m2).
